Gotland cross lambs: Binky (white) & Brave (grey).

• Both Gotland crosses, Binky's mother is grey and Brave's white.

• Thor, their father is pure Gotland (grey) and as the gene for colour is recessive, only grey ewes passing the colour to their young.

• These lambs were home bred here in Cornwall.

• The lambs fleece is used in a different way and the locks are felted into the rug rather than loose on the surface.

• Gotland sheep are friendly, inquisitive and very attractive.

• the wool is highly prized for spinning and knitting due to its soft handle.
